Methodology
The flow rate of selected springs around Lake Wingra have been sampled since 2004 using a Pygmy Meter as described in the report by URS Final Paper1.
Spring Flow Data
Recent spring flow monitoring was initiated at the Arboretum Big Spring by student Nick Ballering under the guidance of professor of hydro-geology, Jean Bahr. Steve Glass continued the monitoring and added White Clay Spring, Council Spring, and Dancing Sands springs to the monitoring program. The most recent data (from October, 2004 to April, 2011) that has been compiled is presented below.
