A new restoration ecology textbook Introduction to Restoration Ecology by myself and colleagues and co-authors, Evelyn A. Howell and John A. Harrington, has just come out from Island Press.
The new book is “A next generation textbook for the next generation of environmental leaders” that provides a restoration planning process that is workable anywhere on the globe, both now and in the future (see the Island Press Textbook Press Release for more details).
Introduction to Restoration Ecology is more than a textbook, it is a set of interactive teaching tools: a dedicated YouTube channel hosts instructional restoration videos; and an online Instructors Manual helps guide classroom discussions.
