Save the Date: SER MidWest Great Lakes 2016 Annual Meeting Set for April 1-3

The 2016 meeting  of the Midwest-Great Lakes Chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration, will be held at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana from April 1 to April 3, 2016.

The Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) is an international organization  “dedicated to reversing global degradation and restoring the earth’s ecological balance for the benefit of humans and nature.”   SER was established in 1987 and has members in more than 60 countries and chapters around the world.

The Midwest Great Lakes chapter, one of SER’s largest,  was established in 2008 and spans the states of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois.

The theme of the 2016 meeting will be: Overcoming Challenges to Ecological Restoration in the 21st Century,

Generous support for the conference will be provided by meeting hosts, Eco Logic, Indiana Univerity, and the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation.

The call for abstracts for the 2016 meeting is now open! Deadline: January 11, 2016. Details: 2016 Call for Abstracts.

The call for workshop proposals and symposia proposals is also open and will close on December 18, 2015. Details: 2016 Call for Workshops and Symposia.
