Landscape architecture experts will present an overview of Jens Jensen’s original design concepts for the park, then lead us on a walk-through of features still in place: native plantings, woods and rocky ravines suitable for creative play, and circular gathering areas, including the stone Council Ring still used for seasonal neighborhood events. Signs will direct you to meeting area.

This is a family friendly tour. Note: we will be walking on grassy paths and some uneven ground.

Event is part of the DMNA Nature and History Trail Project, supported by 2015 City of Madison Community Planning Grant
