Public Meeting for Wingra Creek Parkway–Phase 3

From Alder Sue Ellingson (District 13, Madison) comes this message about an opportunity for public input on the continuing Wingra Creek Parkway bank stabilization project:

City (of Madison) Engineering (Division) is holding a public meeting to discuss the Wingra Creek Parkway – Phase 3 project.  The goal for this project is to install stabilization measures on the banks of Wingra Creek, between Olin Avenue and the stone railroad bridge.  We will also discuss the potential installation of a stone weir near the mouth of the creek.  The project is in the first phases; the purpose of this meeting will be to discuss general ideas and request input.

If you have questions on this matter, please contact Sally Swenson at (608) 266-4862 or sswenson@cityofmadison.com.
