Volunteer Opportunity at SER 5th World Conference in Madison

Here is a wonderful restoration volunteer Opportunity and a chance to help offset the cost of your SER2013 registration fees while networking with like-minded students and professionals at this fall’s Society for Ecological Restoration Conference in Madison, WI. People who volunteer for 8 hours will receive 50% off the base registration fee and those who volunteer for 16 hours will receive a 100% discount. Preference will be given to students but all community members are welcome to apply. Volunteer hours can be scheduled around sessions that you would like to attend. Duties may include greeting people, distributing materials, monitoring sessions, and other logistical support for registration, sessions, workshops, field trips, and other events.

To be a volunteer, download and complete the application form at http://www.ser2013.org/volunteers/ and then email it to us (SER2013volunteers@ser.org). If we have a position for you, we will send you a code to use online for your registration discount or refund. Volunteer opportunities will be filled on a first come-first serve basis, with a limited number of spots available, so get your application in early. For additional information, send questions to the Volunteer Committee at SER2013volunteers@ser.org.
