There are lots of opportunities in the next few weeks to get involved in civic garden and community based restoration projects in the Dudgeon-Monroe neighborhood (DMNA).
Starting off tomorrow (Wednesday April 24) from 9:30 am to 11 am will be the weekly Wingra Park Orchard Garden Work Party. The group meets at Wingra Park near the bike path at the Monroe Street entrance to the park.
On Saturday April 27 from 10 am until noon will be the 2nd Annual SW Path Roam About. The tour will visit three sites: Odana Prairie at Odana Road and the SW Bike Path; Glenway Prairie, at Glenway Street and the SW Bike Path; and the Prospect Street Ramp at the intersection of the path, Fox/Prospect/Commonwealth streets. Wednesday May 1, from 9:30 to 11 am the Wingra Park Orchard Garden Work Party (see April 24 above).
