SW Bike Path Lighting Proposal Will Be Introduced to City Council on 10.30.12

According to Sue Ellingson (Alder, Madison District 13) the Southwest Path lighting proposal will begin the City of Madison legislative process when it is referred for introduction at the 10/30 Council meeting.   No action will be taken nor will there be a public hearing on 10/30.   Instead, according to Ellingson’s District 13 Updates, the bike path lighting proposal will take the form of a resolution under Council new business and will be referred to the Board of Public Works and the Ped/Bike/Motor Vehicle Commission will hold a joint hearing on 11/28.   One can track the lighting proposal here

Board of Public Works, Pedestrian/Bicycle/Motor Vehicle Commission (Joint Hearing and Meeting 11/28)

The public hearing on November 28 will be the time for citizens with an interest in this issue to make their desires, and opinions known.  Stay tuned for more details.
