Another View: Duck Pond, Its Springs and Wall

The Duck Pond wall as seen from the sidewalk along Nakoma Road.

Looking south on Nakoma Road. The Duck Pond wall is on the left. The old Spring Trail Tavern (a stagecoach stop) and its stone wall on the right.

One Response to Another View: Duck Pond, Its Springs and Wall

  1. The Wall at the top along Nakoma Road does not look as much like typical Frank Lloyd Wright rockwork as does the steps down from the road to the Spring. When I was there many times in the seventies the the wall did not catch my attention, but the rockwork down to the Springs did. I did not know then that Wright designed and supervised the wall and the steps..
