Public Input Sought!
The City of Madison Engineering Department is planning the third phase of its long-running project to introduce native plants along the banks Wingra Creek. City engineers will hold a public informational meeting on Monday February 27, 2012 at 6pm to discuss their preliminary plans for the project, answer questions, and look for comments from neighbors.
The native plant garden project ( the City refers to it as a “restoration project”) will be on Wingra Creek, along Quann and Goodman Parks, west of Olin Avenue. This is the third phase of implementation of the Wingra Creek Master Plan. Please feel free contact City Engineering if you have questions or comments but cannot attend the meeting: Lisa Coleman – (608) 266-4093 – firstname.lastname@example.org
